About Your PNJ Sir

"Passion is the genesis of genius" - Galileo Galilei Hi! I'm Jainam Khara , popularly known as PNJ Sir — a Physics teacher by profession, but a student of curiosity for life. The name PNJ (P for Physics, J for Jainam) was given to me during my time at Lakshya, and it’s grown into a brand — from this blog, to my Instagram page, to every classroom I step into. I hold a Master's in Physics from IIT Bombay and have been teaching for over 15 years , ever since I first picked up the chalk at the age of 15. My mission has always been to make students fall in love with Physics — not fear it. Because when passion for a subject is ignited, it creates purpose , and purpose pushes you toward your best self . Currently, I’m teaching at the Vedantu Learning Center at PCMC Pune , which became India’s Best Vedantu Offline Center in just 4 months. I’ve mentored thousands of students for IIT JEE , NEET , and IIT JAM , and many of them are now at IITs, IISERs, and other top insti...

Sharad Kaandi's Adventures in Physics: A Collection of Fun and Thought-Provoking Numericals

Who is Sharad Kaandi? Sharad Kaandi is my clickbait - a quirky, curious, and somewhat clueless character I created (way back in 2014) to make physics problem-solving more relatable, fun, and engaging. He’s the kind of guy who’s always surrounded by physics but can never quite figure things out without help—making him the perfect guide for students who sometimes feel the same way! Why did I create Sharad Kaandi? The idea behind Sharad Kaandi was to break the monotony of typical physics problems. By introducing humor and storytelling, I want to show that physics isn't just a set of abstract concepts—it’s part of our everyday world, full of surprises and fun. Sharad's adventures are filled with odd scenarios where physics is the key to solving all kinds of problems, often with a twist of humor and creativity. What will you find here? On this page, you'll find PDFs of physics numericals involving Sharad’s adventures. These problems cover various topics, from Classical Mechani...

Raw Testimonial of Khushal - Journey to IIT Guwahati

An Open Letter to all Jee Aspirants/ Testimonial for PNJ Sir I'm Khushal, and I am from Indore. I'd like to share my little success story. I was an ex-JEE aspirant. When I took the JEE Advanced exam in 2023 during my 12th grade, I scored 54 marks and couldn't qualify. I decided to take a drop and started preparing from scratch again. My physics was below average, and I was struggling with advanced questions. However, when I started studying under PNJ Sir, an IIT Bombay alumnus, his innovative teaching methods made a significant difference. A good teacher is one who can explain concepts precisely in a few words, and PNJ Sir excelled at that. My math skills were also at a zero level, but my math teacher, Garg Sir, provided tremendous support to help me improve. I am thankful to the entire Catalyser team for standing by us during challenging times. After revising the entire syllabus, I attempted the JEE Main 2024 exam for the first time and scored 98.75 percentile. Following...

Raw Testimonial of Dakshayani Agrawal - Journey to IIT Delhi

An Open Letter to all Jee Aspirants/ Testimonial for PNJ Sir My name is Dakshayani Agrawal . Just like many children, I was a JEE aspirant, and just like many children, I was NOT god-gifted. Last year I scored 96.97%ile in the JEE Mains, but I couldn’t qualify the JEE Advanced. That’s when I decided to dedicate one more year of my life for IIT. Despite having a lot of dedication, I was not confident about securing my way into a top IIT. I knew it was hard, but for me hard didn’t mean ‘’Impossible”!! BUT Physics was something I could never catch up till 12 th . But after taking a drop, I took guidance from PNJ sir. He took regular doubt clearing sessions and motivated me to push my physics.  He made me realise that physics wasn’t something that is just read in books, but it is a part of our daily lives, and is something that is the most practically experienced; it’s all about exploring things more than your textbooks. Physics should be made interesting and that’s what PNJ Si...

Raw Testimonial of Palak Prajapati - from 64.7 percentile to 94.6 percentile

I am PALAK PRAJAPATI, I was a JEE aspirant. Last year I scored 64.7 percentile in JEE main, and you all know this score means nothing for admission in any govt or top private colleges. I hadn’t prepared for JEE in my 11 th  and 12 th , and that’s why I was scared and in doubt to take drop, thinking like will I be able to cover up the things other students do in 2-3 years? I haven’t prepared earlier, so how will I be able to cope up? Kya me bare minimum bhi score kar paungi ya nhi? Then I decided to take the drop. At start I wasn’t even thinking about the mains (advance toh dur ki baat hai). In the beginning mine goal used to be like that, lets first understand the course and try and do well in weekly exams. But then I used to score way below than average in tests. Like in exam of 300 marks my score used to be below 100 only……. And this is an obvious thing for a student and also for parents to get flustered, that if I can’t score average marks in these 2 or 3 chapters how wil...
